TimeSource uses a custom true type font called Switzerland Narrow when generating its reports. Since Windows dynamically loads fonts as they are called upon, there may be a time when Windows may not recognize that TimeSource has called upon Switzerland Narrow.
Please use the following font installation instructions.
Click the “Start” button on the bottom left corner of your desktop.
Choose the “Control Panel” option.
Double click on the “Fonts” folder in the “Control Panel” window. (A new window with all of your fonts should open) If the “Control Panel” window is not in “Classic” mode, the “Fonts” folder will not be visable. Change the “Control Panel” window to “Classic” mode by selecting the “Switch to Classic View” on the left side of the window.
Click the “File” menu-option, and choose “Install new font” in the “Fonts” window.
In the lower left corner of the “Add Fonts” window under “Folders” use the scroll bar to locate the “Fonts” folder (usually on one of the following paths C:\WINNT\Fonts or C:\Windows\Fonts).
Double click on the “Fonts” folder.
The “List of Fonts” box, in the top left corner of the “Add Fonts” window, should automatically populate with a list of installed fonts.
Scroll down through the list of installed fonts until you find “Switzerland Narrow (true type)” and click once on the font name to select it and then click “OK”. If you do not see the font “Switzerland Narrow (true type)” in the list of available fonts then proceed to step 10.
A box will pop up which will tell you that the “Switzerland Narrow (true type)” font is already installed, and that to reinstall it, you must first remove the old version. Just click “OK”. Proceed to step 15.
* Please make sure that your TimeSource CD is in your CD Rom Drive before continuing.
In the center of the “Add Fonts” window select the drop down arrow under the “Drives” label and choose your CD Rom Drive.
Using the scroll bar under “Folders” to the left of “Drives” locate and double click on the “TS” folder.
Double click on the “Support” folder listed under the “TS” folder.
The “List of Fonts” box above the “Folders” list should now display the “Switzerland Narrow (true type)” font.
Left click once on the “Switzerland Narrow (true type)” font and then click “OK” to install the font.
Go back to the TimeSource software and try printing a report. The problem should be corrected.
