KB0148: CT-900 Stuck in Programming Mode when Cover is On
There is a small rectangular, silver magnet under the left “arm” of the cover. A sensor in the main unit detects the magnet when the cover is in place. This disables Programming Mode.
Solution:
- Make sure the cover is firmly and properly seated and locked onto the main unit.
- If the problem continues, remove the cover and make sure the magnet is present. If not, check in the area of the time clock to see if the magnet is lying on the floor or table. Use glue to secure the magnet back into the slot.
- A replacement cover can be purchased from our sales department if the magnet cannot be recovered.
